I was unaware that anyone else had rights to Gears of War; Microsoft has exclusive rights to the IP and publishing rights.

I was also unaware that Fable 2 was third party. Or that Halo Wars was third party. Or 1 vs. 100. Or Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Or Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise. Or the original Banjo-Kazooie game for Arcade. Or Scene it?. Or Your in the Movies. The list goes on.

I never said anything about the Wii not being “next gen” and I’m almost certain nothing I’ve written on this site calls Sony crap straight out. Love words in my mouth, they taste so nice.

Actually Microsoft showed 3 First party games onlyand bunch of third party games. I dont know why spend so much time touting third party game in a console conference, you must differentiate yourself from the competitors, and Third party is surely not the way to go. Sony on the other hand provided updates on the existing titles what will come this fall, and while introducing some new titles for next year. They didn’t waste time on third party titles, just a showed a brief montage on them.

I think the Sony conference was well rounded of them 3.

Agreed with Yert. The point is Microsoft is the best in the world. Xbox 360 is the best. Sony is crap. Nintendo isn’t a next-generation console.

I thought that Microsoft did a great job at E3, showing off new features and playable demos instead of over-glorified tech previews.
Nintendo was kinda sparse, but with their position right now…
Sony did a good job with presenting LittleBigPlanet, and some of the games we all knew they would have anyways.

I personally cant wait for Leipzig and TGS. Sony and EA representatives said that, major announcements are coming. My favorite E3 of all is 2006, with the festive mood and all. Also by that time I was in LA, but couldn’t go inside as I was below 18.
