Trying playing on harder difficulties. I’m playing on Insanity (the highest one) and although I die often, it’s good fun. Although I was mostly Paragon (good) in Mass Effect 1, I’m leaning towards the Renegade (evil) side in Mass Effect 2.

Just had a bartender that served me a poisonous drink on Omega. When I recovered, I forced the bartender to drink it himself.

I’ve took your advice and turned off my anti-virus along with the other background programs by using Game Booster. And yes, my FPS really increased.
And about the game- Awesome!!!!!! Last night I get to punch a reporter on the nose who’s making a bad impression out of me. Its good to be bad sometimes . Oh, and I love launching probes in unexplored planets scanning for minerals, hacking and fighting really intense battles. Overall this one is prefect in all aspect, except some storyline I couldn’t understand because I didn’t play Mass Effect 1.

That is because your PC can’t handle it. Make sure you’ve turned off anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering from the game video settings. If that doesn’t work, try lowering the graphics settings or try lowering the resolution.

If you’ve got applications running in the background (namely anti-virus), try turning it off temporarily. Turn on the antivirus again after finishing the game. Hope that helps.
