Uncharted 3 Uses An “Evolved” Version Of The Uncharted 2 Engine

Uncharted 3 won’t be based on a completely new engine. Naughty Dog has said that it will use an “evolved” version of the same engine they used in Uncharted 1 & 2.

When Italian site 4News.it asked whether Uncharted 3 will be using a completely different engine, Naughty Dog replied, “The engine for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune [is] the foundation for our subsequent games – we’ve just been evolving the engine.”
