According to the survey, about 29% wanted an iPod Touch and 31% wanted an iPad. Only 12% wanted a X360, 14% opted for a PSP, 18% looked towards the Wii, 21% wanted a PS3 and 25% a nDS.

Another discovery was between the two motion controllers, Kinect for X360 and PSMove for PS3, only 17% percent wanted a Move and 14% percent wanted the Kinect.

The DLC packs are dubbed Timesavers and are in SCPD and racer forms. The DLCs are ready to be downloaded from Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for 320 MS Points or $3.99

Buying both DLCs will give instant access to all of the cars from both sides in the game, instead of working towards unlocking them individually.

Black Ops is due for release on November 9 for PC, PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360.

“Frankly, the last thing I think the industry needs now is new hardware,” the publisher’s CEO told IGN. “You look at the games coming out on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 now and they look stunning.”

“What’s the proposition for the person shelling out the $300-$400 for the system and the $60 for a game, what is value proposition for that gamer?”

“Better graphics? They’re pretty darn good now… Where it’s going to be is in the play experience; richer stories, better characters, production values that are much more like movies.”

“I think that’s the direction, rather than technology and graphics. I think those days are over.”

Pointing at the increased costs new consoles would entail for hardware-makers and game developer alike, he claimed that “to have an extended cycle with a broader audience I think, strategically, is exactly the right way to go.

“Move and Kinect are both designed to do that.”

For the April-September period, Nintendo reported loss of ¥2.01 billion ($24.7 million) versus a profit of ¥69.5 billion ($854.6 million) during the same period the year prior.

According to the Wall Street Journal, this represents Nintendo’s first net loss in the fiscal first half in the last seven years.

“We’ve completely changed the way we do facial animation,” director Dave Anthony told OPM.

“Some of the stuff we’ve done with Gary Oldman’s character is amazing.”

But animation director Dominique Drozdz said that the animation was a little too good in places.

“There were situations going too far,” he added.

“It was a a contextual kill where you were twisting the neck. It was too much. The throat cutting [is] nasty, but that was worse.”
