Modded Xbox 360 Slim 250GB Available In Bangladesh
Two game shops have called Gamersworldbd today to let us know that modded Xbox 360 Slim 250GB is available in Bangladesh.
Previously we reported that the first 4GB Xbox 360 Slim was spotted in Bangladesh but it was not modded.
However the new 250GB Slim that SOF, Banani and Game Source, Bashundhara has brought to Bangladesh is modded and can play “backup” games. These Xbox 360 slims use a dashboard prior to the Kinect dashboard.
We suggest anybody who buys a new Xbox 360 Slim NOT to update to the latest Kinect Dashboard as it has AP 2.5 and newer games won’t work.
The latest flashed firmware, iExtreme LT+ is undergoing tests and promises to bypass AP 2.5. It will be released soon and SOF confirms that they can flash the Xbox 360’s DVD drive for you if you take the firmware file to them.
SOF at Banani has quoted a price of TK 35,000 for the 250GB Xbox 360 Slim.
Game Source at Bashundhara City has quoted a price of TK 37,000 for the 250GB Xbox 360 Slim.

hmm cool..How much are they gonna charge for flashing the disk drive??..amazingly they took tk 3500 from me for making my xbox 360 to play back up games..Im pretty sure they didnt jtag as my xbox 360 cant fake disc regions..

They charged me Tk 2,500 for mod chip. I guess they’ll charge a bit less for flashing the drive but I don’t know how much exactly.

this is confusing..Now i understand mine is mod chipped..But how can your one be mod chipped cause you mentioned in a comment that you have two xbox 360s one not flashed and another flashed..So will nfs hot pursuit work on a mod chipped xbox 360?
If you don’t go online with your mod chipped xbox 360, would you like to try it?? But thats if you DONT go online with it.

Not mod-chipped. Flashed. Its flashed firmware drive. Sorry! I have this bad habit of using mod chip/flashed interchangeably.

If you don’t have the latest Kinect Dashboard update, any game will run fine.

As both me and sng425 have said elsewhere in the comments section there is a possibility that you can delete the $sysupdate folder from the image, burn it to a disc and skip the update. But, again, I haven’t tried this myself so don’t know the implications for it.

As far as i know LT+ is still under testing… and is yet to be released… if these Xboxs are modded then their probably spoofed to fake samsung drives… and are using old regular LT or 1.61…i know because i’ve successfully flashed both mine and my frenz Xboxs, hence they will get banned if they go on Xbox live… i personally wouldn’t recommend anyone to mod their consoles yet cuz LT+ isn’t in public release yet… but if u prefer to stay offline then i guess these current mods will suffice…

Those slims ARE modded. But it is NOT the LT+ mod as it hasn’t been released yet. But, they don’t have the latest Kinect Dashboard update.

1. IF I BUY A XBOX 360 ELITE WHICH IS MODDED, THEN I DON’T NEED TO PAY AN EXTRA 2500-300 TAKA TO MOD MY X BOX, RIGHT?
