PlayStation 4 : No Cell Processor

The cell processor’s been killed off, according to German website Heise Online which quoted IBM’s VP of Deep Computing, David Turek, that the planned successor to the current PowerXCell-8i processor, slated to have two PowerPC processors and 32 SPEs, will not be released.

So, sorry folks, the successor to PS3’s cell processor won’t see itself in the PS4.
