Gamers Upset Over Heavy Rain US/EU Box Art Disparity, Sony Responds

Yesterday, Sony revealed the US box art of Heavy Rain, one of Quantic Dreams highly anticipated exclusives for the PS3.

But gamers all over the internet has taken up arms. Why? They like the simplistic nature of the EU Heavy Rain box art. The US box art, as some puts it, attempts sex appeal (really?).

Sony has responded. Heavy Rain will also contain a PDF version of the EU box art, so, gamers who like that can print it and use it instead.

“We’ll be doing that for those that would prefer the UK artwork. Keep an eye out on the blog around launch,” associate product manager Christian Cardona has confirmed.

Now only if I had a glossy paper to print the perfect box art. On a side note, have you ever printed any box art for use?

Heavy Rain is a PS3 exclusive and will release on Feb 23 2010 (US) and Feb 26 (EU).
