Xbox 360 Slim Red Dot Of Death Video, Plus Microsoft Responds

First there was the Red Ring of Death, on which Microsoft spent over a billion dollars to fix and tarnished their image.

Hot on the heel of the release of Xbox 360 Slim is the so-called Red Dot of Death.

Gamers across the internet reports that the Xbox 360 power bricks show a red light (instead of the usual green) and the console does not power on. The same power brick works on other consoles. Check out the video below:

Speaking to Now Gamer about the Red Dot of Death issues, a Microsoft representative said, “we couldn’t be more proud of the consoles we are building now, as well as the new Xbox 360. This console is the culmination of years of continuous innovation in design, testing and learning. Today we are confident we are shipping a high quality product.”
