NPD: Digital Game Distribution And Physical Sales Go Head To Head

The digital download games service must be really booming. So much so in fact that they are almost on par with boxed copies sold in stores.

NOD tracked some 21.3 million PC games sold through digital distribution such as Steam and D2D while 23.5 million boxed PC games were sold at retail last year.

Very close if you ask me and soon digital distribution will overtake retail PC games sales.
