GamePro Gaming Magazine Will Soon Launch As Bangladesh’s First Gaming Magazine

Talks have been going on for sometime that GamePro will launch in Bangladesh. ISN (publisher of PC World Bangladesh) plans to bring GamePro into the Bangladeshi market, making it the first print gaming magazine in Bangladesh.

This has also been confirmed by BDTechie, but no exact release date is known.

The main issue is whether GamePro will launch in full color in Bangladesh, or the standard black and white version that many magazines (including PC World Bangladesh) are published in Bangladesh.

I’m certain that a gaming magazine printed in black and white will not be highly successful since screenshots and other artwork loses its appeal.

It also remains to be seen how the Bangladeshi market will accept a gaming-only magazine and if there will be a large subscriber base to support the magazine.

But I’m hopeful and will be the first to subscribe once it releases.

GamePro is published by IDG USA and covers gaming news, previews and reviews of all major platforms.

  1. Nice i will sub it as well 😛
BD is getting better and better for tech as days goes…..

  2. @Rabbi

I’m hoping they’ll publish it in full color.

  3. @The Gaming Wiz

Yeah. But i hope its cheaper than its american counterpart.

  4. I will also subscribe to it as well. I hope that they’ll publish it in full color and it’ll also be available on a reasonable price and I believe it will. ‘Cause an avarege people won’t buy it if the price gets out of his hand. I wouldn’t be saying that if we weren’t living in a country where most of the people don’t even get to “eat” properly, let alone buying a game magazine.

But I’m still hopeful that it will be well accepted by the Bangladeshi gamers and be the first successful game magazine in Bangladesh.

  5. seriously who’d subscribe to that??? so while we have so many living in poverty in this country yet this expensive thing comes in bd? wow. the price tag shows $30. so 70×30=2100 tk? that’s a lot. well i guess only the rich would get which is not me 😐

  6. @Kondiklux

You’ve got it wrong. Although it costs that much in the USA, it will likely sell for Tk 50-70 per issue in Bangladesh (sames as PCWORLD Bangladesh)

  7. @Kondiklux

The Gaming wiz’s right, the price that you’re reckoning is applicable for its American counterpart. As the gaming wiz proclaimed, it will be far more cheaper in Bangladesh, than its American counterpart.

  8. hey sng425 will u plz tell about the stealth discs? u download games and burn them right?

“hey sng425 will u plz tell about the stealth discs? u download games and burn them right?”

All you have to do is, Download the ISO from whatever scene group you trust, check its stealth and verification test through ABGX, and then burn it to a DVD+R DL.

Nevertheless, I’ve already written about this matter a few times here on GWB, you can check those posts to get the details.

  11. thanks sng425, but what if i buy a pirated game upload the iso to pc then burn it will that work?

  12. how much does a dvd+r dl disk cost sng425

  13. @Kondiklux

Well, bro, you really don’t get to do that because whenever a game gets burned into a disc you can’t retrieve the iso from it. So, obviously, you’ll have to do it before burning it.

    @xlivnt

Bro, a good quality DVD+R DL would cost around 150-350 tk. But I can’t tell you an exact price since the price of those discs differs from brands and the shop you’re going to buy from.

  14. Hopefully GamePro will arrive by October/ December. Licensing and other formalities have been complete. As for the price , its still hang in the balance, we are still studying gaming market.
