I just have to get the 3DS for this game only!

Nah, I’m a more PSP person so I’ll let this go 😉

  4. @Gamerkid69

I rarely play on handhelds. It just doesn’t feel right. However, I’ll be getting the 3DS for, well, 3D lol

LOL 😆 by the way I have heard rumors about a PSP2 😯 do you happen to know anything about this? ❓

  6. @Gamerkid69

Yup, I’ve also been hearing about this rumor about the PSP2 for sometime. Nothing concrete or verified yet. I’ll keep you posted.

  7. Thanks bro 😛

“I rarely play on handhelds. It just doesn’t feel right.”

So do I. And that’s why this time I’m in real confusion whether I should get the 3ds or not 😕 as both of my Nintendo DS and PSP are bestrewed by dust for not using them for a long time. I can’t even remember when did I last touch my PSP and DS. 🙄

Same with my DS. Problem is graphics isn’t up to par (oh my god, am I comparing to the DS) with my linking and there aren’t any hardcore games. More to the point, it’s my sister’s 😛

But I’ll be getting the 3DS and I recommend it too.

Yeah, my problem is also quite akin to yours. And that’s the reason why I still didn’t get the wii yet, because I’ve always been a hardcore gamer and both of these platforms(Wii & DS) are made for casual gamers or at least they seem to be made for casual gamers. On another note, both of this platforms have a great lacking of hardcore games as well. 👿 So, since I’m a hardcore gamer I barely play those casual games. That’s why I’m guessing 3DS may not be the “perfect” or the exact platform for me.

Anyway, thanks for your recommendation, bro. But I’m still quite skeptical about it due to the reason I’ve stated above. But either way, I’ve gotta say, MGS : Snake eater is looking very promising. 😛 And the 3DS version of Splinter Cell is also out there which is currently in development. So, I guess this time Nintendo will offer us(with their new 3DS) a good range of hardcore games which both of us were looking for.

Oh, and one more thing, these screens are looking great ! They reminded me of my last adventure with “Snake” in MGS: Peace Walker for the PSP, which was also a handheld exclusive like this one.

Although I have a Wii. But only finished Silent Hill Shattered Memories (awesome game by the way) and half of Mario Galaxy. Thinking about getting Dead Space: Extraction (although I can get on PS3 with Move) Metroid: Other M and Red Steel 2. I could take the Wii seriously if it sported HD graphics. SD seems so washed out on my screen. 🙁

About the 3DS. Splinter Cell and MGS looks awesome. Hope it gets more hardcore games.

Same reason I didn’t buy the wii yet. SD seems really bad especially when you’re used to HD graphics. 🙁
