Devil May Cry Creator Hideki Not Impressed With Ninja Theory’s Reboot

Hideki Kamiya, creator of the Devil May Cry series has been on a roll after tweeting countless times his disappointment with Ninja Theory’s reboot of DMC, although very subtly.

Devil May Cry had been announced at TGS with a new developer, Ninja Theory and also a new look.

To make matters worse for CAPCOM’s ‘damage control’ measures, the creator of DMC and Bayonetta chief, Hideki Kayima has started tweeting about it.

After a “I miss your Dante” tweet by one of his fans, Hideki replied with, “I miss him too…” and later added, “I’ve been sad since Dante left me.” (?!)

Hideki also dealt Ninja Theory a deadly slash when he replied to a “DmC by Ninja Theory? Do you think they will evolve the action game from your Bayonetta standard?” tweet with “whatever.”

Even though Ninja Theory has made some good titles, to receive such a critical hit from the real creator of DMC, they must be feeling pretty sore.

  1. Now, contrary to everyone else, I’m actually excited about this DMC reboot. Dante may actually be cool this time around instead of being plain Japanese weird.

  2. @The Gaming Wiz/Mushfiqur Rahman

Contrary to you, Dante didn’t seem to be a “plain Japanese weird” on DMC 4(instead, I’d say he looked cool indeed! 😎 ).

  3. The only cool thing about DMC4 was the intro ( Nero Vs. Dante ). Dante in dmc4 was no where near as cool as DMC1. I have hopes on Ninja Theory. Btw, Hideki Kamiya is one to speak, his last game “Bayonetta” seriously shocked me, any1 remembers the ending dance by Bayonetta ? Tht was the most awkward 4 mins of my life.

  4. @alinktothepast

I really enjoyed Bayonetta even though I admit the whole game, not only the ending dance, was “Japanese weird”

  5. I was wondering whether anyone here would have any idea on where i can find component cables for the original Xbox in Bangladesh. Since i have a HDTV now and not all games are 360 compatible it would be nice to play those old games in 720p.
    Peace

  8. @ILBLEED

Does the Xbox 1 support 720p? I thought it only did 480p.You can try SOF at Banani, UAE Market. Contact # 9887384. But I think that they won’t have Xbox 1 cables in stock. You might even have to import from abroad.
