“Over 15,000 Developers” To Make Apps For Windows Phone

Microsoft has recently announced that over 15, 000 developers have signed their names to create new apps and games for the new Windows 7 mobile phone.

Both first and third party studios have signed up.

Todd Brix, senior director in Microsoft’s mobile division said that there has been a 80% increase in developer signing rate since the last September, he also mentioned there will be about 3000 apps released for the phone before December.

According to him it is just the beginning of the new features that are going to strike the new Windows 7 phone, as he wrote in the Microsoft web page.

Recent estimates suggest that Microsoft sold just about 40,000 of its new mobile devices on launch day in the US.
