Xbox 360 LT+ Firmware Flashing Experience At Game Source
By now you’re eagerly waiting to know whether the LT+ firmware flashing was successful at Game Source. I’m sad to say that it was not. Nope. Still can’t play AP 2.5 games. Why?
Game Source at Bashundhara is one of the most knowledgeable gaming shops, at least according to me. SOF was unsuccessful in flashing my Xbox 360’s firmware with LT+. But they couldn’t provide a reason.
However, I spent over 4 hours at Game Source (along with fellow Gamersworldbd reader Rakin, more on that later) and none of our consoles booted Fable 3. It didn’t show the usual “Disc Unreadable Error”, but, the game got stuck in a black screen. Ejecting the DVD drive had no effect and the console couldn’t be turned off either – only solution was to yank the power cord.
So, what went wrong? I can attest that the latest LT+ firmware indeed does work. But Game Source has been using an older version of JungleFlasher, namely v1.0.75. Only the latest v1.0.76b works with Lite-On drives and LT+.
The latest v.1.0.76b didn’t work on Game Source’s Windows XP computer. We tried hours in troubleshooting the problem, but in the end decided that Windows 7 would be best.
So, tomorrow we’ll try again from scratch and keep you guys posted. Rest assured, Gamersworldbd is closely collaborating with Game Source in bringing LT+ firmware in Bangladesh market. Usual charge for firmware flashing is Tk 1,300 at Game Source, but if you mention Gamersworldbd you may be able to get a discount.
Also, my Xbox 360 is fine – it plays pre-Ap 2.5 games just okay, even though Fable 3 hung up with a black screen.
And also, it was a pleasant surprise to meet other Gamersworldbd readers at Game Source, namely Rakin who will go ahead tomorrow and try it from scratch once again.
There were other shoppers there who knew Gamersworldbd by name and it does me good to know Gamersworldbd has become one of the best gaming sites in Bangladesh. Thanks guys and will keep you posted!

like ur Micro$oft pissed you guys off with the ap 2.5 now sony is backfiring us off with the 3.50 full encrypted games not to forget the blocked psn 👿 Cant play Gran Turismo 5 and newer games after this until a new payload/firmware releases for the jailbreak 😥

I just thought of an alternate solution. I’m not sure if you guys tried it or not but I’ll share anyways.
Since your Pre-AP2.5 games are booting, I think the flash went OK. The problem might be here. I got this from the Team Xecuter website:
“You need to patch your ISO with this AP25 data in order for the game to work with LT+ and be XBL safe.” In short, if the disk isnt safe, LT+ will not boot it.
So, I think the Fable 3 you guys were trying to boot was not PPF Patched and possibly wasn’t even run through the new ABGX360 since that disk came way before the release of these patches and ABGX360 v1.0.4.
If all else fails, try downloading a AP2.5 game yourself and patching it to see if it works.
Anyway, thats my theory, if you guys already thought of this stuff, I apologize for making you read it!

You’ve got a good point there. I thought this was only required to avoid getting your console banned from Xbox Live.
Anyway, I’ll try this out. Dump the Fable 3 disk into an image, patch it and then burn it again to another disk and try it out. Also, I’m going to Game Source to see the progress they made there. Will let you guys know.

I got a pre flashed Liteon(fw version-93450c)drive.will it work with LT+ without any hardware shouldering or any extra kit..as i read on other forum and jungle flasher tutorial that this drive need some MRA hack to get the key and i don’t have any dvd key or dummy key :(.If someone updated to LT+ with this drive plz confirm.

The LT+ firmware works with both Liteon and BenQ drives. The day I was at Game Source, they flashed a Liteon drive if I remember correctly. My drive also didn’t have the DVD key (it couldn’t locate at first) but Game Source fixed it. My drive is BenQ.

Today I Updated My 360 with LT+ From gamesource 🙂 though hakim vai had to open my drive(liteon-93450c) and shoulder it then it got recognized by JF.

Hi fellow gamers!! I’m new here and just joined today. Damn O’level and the ridiculously long syllabuses.Anyways my launch model Xbox360 premium which I bought from Nadim electronics on 1st March 2008 RROD’d. So I’m left without a proper console. I was thinking of buying an xbox360 arcade and play it on a LG led monitor. I don’t need Xbox live, just normal pirated games would work for me, but I do need to play the latest games. Please give me suggestions on what I should do. Thanks.
