Xbox 360 More Popular Than PS3 According To Online Search Pattern

Online search pattern has revealed that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is more popular than the PS3.

According to online voucher site MyVoucherCodes, 43 percent of all games console searches on the site are for the Xbox 360, while Sony’s Playstation 3 is behind with 31 percent of all searches. Wii has dropped down to 16 percent from 47 percent in the previous year.

Mark Pearson, chairman of MyVoucherCodes, said: “This time last year, the Nintendo Wii was still competing well against the other higher spec consoles. This year, however, the Wii is facing some fierce competition from its competitor; Sony’s PS3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 are forcing the Wii to the bottom of the gaming league table”.

He believes that the recent introduction of Sony’s Move and Microsoft’s Kinect is the sole reason for the decline in Wii’s popularity.
