Activision Sues EA Over Infinity Ward’s West And Zampella, Wants $400M
Activision has sued EA for $400 million in damages over previous Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella.
According to the LA Times, Activision is accusing EA of trying to “destabilize, disrupt and … destroy Infinity Ward.” The lawsuit accused EA of working through talent management firm Creative Artists Agency to “hijack” West and Zampella from Infinity Ward.
West and Zampella went on to form Respawn Entertainment in partnership with EA after being fired from Infinity Ward.
EA had this to say: “This is a PR play filled with pettiness and deliberate misdirection,” said EA spokesman Jeff Brown. “Activision wants to hide the fact that they have no credible response to the claim of two artists who were fired and now just want to get paid for their work.”
Jason West and Vince Zampella’s attorney had this to say on the amended suit: “Activision’s filing is a pathetic mash-up of false and reckless assertions, designed only to delay the march to justice for Jason West and Vince Zampella. But what else would you expect from a company that doesn’t let the truth get in its way.”
Activision is now seeking $400 million in damages from West, Zampella and EA.

ha ha ha. oh great Kotick, you have done it again.after a decade,ACTIVISION will be history.they have no respect for thier employees or i say artists.
This is why i love JAPAN,the pioneer of gaming.there is respect between them.they respect each other like an asian society with various clads. Kotick can never be like Hideo Kojima,a true game lover developer with first priority to game not money.
