Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Features Brand New Game Engine
Bethesda has announced via twitter that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which is a direct sequel to Oblivion, uses a “brand new” game engine.
Here’s the tweet:
“Seeing lots of speculation about #tesv game engine. It’s brand new… and it’s spectacular!”
Bethesda also said on its official forum that this is a brand new, internally developed engine.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out on November 11, 2011.
