God of War’s Kratos Confirmed For Mortal Kombat

After appearing several times in other non-God of War games before, including a fighting game in SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny, protagonist Kratos will make his appearance in Midway’s upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot.

However, it has been confirmed that Kratos will be exclusively available in the PS3 version and won’t appear in the story modes.

A number of unannounced Mortal Kombat characters were also accidentally leaked due to an error on the official Mortal Kombat site.

The leaked character line-up looks like this – (Spoiler warning!) Ermac, Goro, Kabal, Noob Saibot, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Smoke, and Stryker.

There may be still more characters yet to be announced, but it looks like the roster will at least include these in addition to those we already know about, like Raider, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero.

There’s no word on an exclusive character for the Xbox 360 version as of yet, stay tuned for more updates on it.

Mortal Kombat is set to release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the first quarter of next year.
