Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Revealed, Confirmed For 2011
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has been disclosed in a newly published Entertainment Weekly report.
As previously thought, it will take place in the desert, and will feature Nathan Drake as he searches for a lost city which will see him at he Arabian Peninsula and the vast wasteland of the Rub’ al Khali Desert, with deception being a key theme to Uncharted 3’s story.
Here’s what Naughty Dog main writer, Amy Hennig had to say about the game being set in the desert, “When we first came up with the idea of sand, you see everyone’s eyes light up here and go, ‘Yeah, that’s going to be really hard — let’s do it!’,”
Co-president, Evan Wells also added that they wanted to do something technically and artistically challenging that would make an innovation to the franchise, and thus they came up with the idea of setting the plot in desert, “We’re a bunch of nerds. We just look for something that will be a technical, artistic challenge, and allowed us to push into an area of the world and history we’ve never tapped into before,”
Wells also stated that they are putting their much time and effort in lavishing upon expanding online multiplayer and co-op capabilities, “We want to take on the big boys of the multi-player genre,”
“It has become something here at Naughty Dog that will become an important part to all our games.”
The EW report also has the game confirmed for a late 2011 release.
The first teaser trailer for Uncharted 3 is below. It will get its full world premiere at the VGAs this weekend.

2011 is getting more and more action packd day by day…….mayb the game developers took the film ”2012” a bit seriously………can’t wait for 2011……

Been in Rub al Khali desert for 46 days.hell of a place.a place you can learn your lesson for lifetime.its not desert,its hell of sand dunes,giant 18 feet grass,52 degree in daytime,-2 in nightfall.
What is Drake going to do there?Maybe die & finish the series.
P.S.where you guys buy ps3 disks in Bangladesh?(anyway i live in Kalabagan)

Look out for original PS3 games in any renowned gaming shop in Dhaka(Gamesource, SOF etc.) and you might get the one you’re seeking for.
By the way, thanks for sharing your true experience of the place that we are going to experience in Uncharted 3.
