Dead Space 2: Severed Expansion Announced
Dead Space 2 is out today. And while you’re playing through the single-player campaign, EA and Visceral Games are preparing an expansion, due to release “soon” on PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.

VG247 is reporting that it won’t be available on PC.

Is this going to be a trend of things to come? The game just gets released and BAM! You have to pay for a DLC/expansion. Why not just include it in the game?

It’s gotten really good reviews.
Been waiting quite some time for this.
And the money making thing is obvious. But I also think this is to combat piracy. Notice how the expansion won’t be released on the PC. Very easy to pirate a DLC on the PC, while it’s really hard on the PS3/360. Also fans who may have thought about pirating it might be lured into purchasing the original just because of the DLC.

if this kind of things happen..why the hell shud i not be pirating games????? i pay $60 for a game and just to get bonus missions and maps i have to pay another $60 more?? i really want to be a legit gamer but this kind of things are making that too hard.. 👿 👿

DLC’s are not very bad. Ubisoft just gave out two free AC:B dlcs, they contain two new modes and two new multiplayer maps.

after i got dead space in 2008 for the hype i didnt even play more than 30mins cuz the game seems disgusting to me. I did like Resident Evil 5 but never been so nauseastic on video games like dead space in my life 👿

Loved the original Dead Space and gonna play this one. Man up and adjust to the blood and the gore.

I also liked the original one and I’m very excited about it’s successor!
Don’t know what happened to the others, why is everyone going nuts hearing Dead Space 2’s name and turning their back on it?
