New Assassin’s Creed Will Actually Be A Continuation of Assassin’s Creed 2

Yesterday Ubisoft announced that “a new episode of Assassin’s Creed” is expected in fiscal year 2010-2011, “which will be the first in the series to have an online multiplayer mode.”

We also speculated that it could be Assassin’s Creed 3. But boy we were wrong. Speaking to CVG, Ubisoft said, “The game will take place with the same hero, which is Ezio, and will follow-up the story that took place in Assassin’s Creed II.”

But it will be a separate game and “not tied to Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC”.

So there you have it Assassin’s Creed fan. It will be a new episode but not an entirely new game.

If it is released on the PC, you know you can download em off the internet. Anyway, I once read that console games with DLC sell almost twice as more than those without. Don’t remember the exact figure.
