Gran Turismo 5 90% Complete, Will Use 80% of PS3 Hardware Muscle

Good news race fans. Gran Turismo 5 is 90% complete, and Polyphony Digital is putting in the polishing touches. But GT 5 is a huge game so the rest 10% may take a while.

In an interview with USA Today, Polyphony Digital head Yamauchi said, “About 90% of the game is done. We are just working on the last 10% and polishing up everything.”

In another interview with Venturebeat, Yamauchi said that GT 5 will use 80% of PS3′s processing power. And there we thought Killzone 2 pushed the PS3 hard.

If you are looking for a release date, it’s unconfirmed but expect sometime in Summer 2010 only on the PS3.
