Mass Effect 2 Will Have Free DLC on Launch Day

Gear up Mass Effect fans. BioWare has announced (okay, tweeted) that Mass Effect 2 will have a free DLC on the day of it’s launch. Exact details of the DLC will be revealed next week.

One question though. Why a free DLC? Couldn’t BioWare have included the content in-game? That will save a lot of BD gamers headache (read: crappy internet speeds).

    im goin 2 download it .. no matter whether my net is slow or not
    whatever the DLC size

    Me too. But my question is this – why bother with a free DLC on launch day? Just include it in the main game. :mad:
