Star Wars The Old Republic To Release in Spring 2011

Are you excited about Star Wars The Old Republic? I sure am. However EA president John Riccitello has hinted that the release of The Old Republic may be pushed back to “Spring 2011″.

VG247 reports that in a financial meeting, John Ricitello said, “One key driver is going to be the launch date of our major MMO. As it stands today, the game is making great progress towards a spring 2011 launch.”

Star Wars The Old Republic is an upcoming MMO from BioWare and published by EA. There isn’t an official confirmation of the release date.

[Update] LucasArts has confirmed that Star Wars: The Old Republic is on for a targeted spring 2011 release date.
