  1. just some flashy pics dont mean da game 2 b gud(let alone ‘great’).1st, da game is cnc by name ONLY!2nd, no traditional core gameplay which was behind cnc series’ success.3rd, this new “persistant player progession system” anti piracy countermeasures similar like ubisoft’s “online services platform” is insane!is it justified 2 play a single player game ONLINE just 4 da sake of piracy?what if their own servers go down which happens very frequently?its like renting a game with a bloody $50-60 full game price.subscribing internet every month just for playing games is SO LAME!

developers and publishers are getting so greedier nowadays that they dont even care about their respected customers.and finally,

all ‘thanks’ go 2 EA 4 ruining such a gr8 series.

I’ve heard of rumors that that C&C 4 will be free to play just like Battlefield: Heores. And nobody can argue with being free.

And look at it this way. If you or I were a game developer, and spent a considerable time and money on developing a game, we would do whatever it takes to protect it from piracy.

Heck, whenever I see an article getting copied from Gamersworldbd (without a back link) it just pisses me off. 😈

  3. cant w8 to play C&C 4 .. 😀
i played C&C 3 tiberium wars .. it was mindblowing game

though im not stategy fan .. but .. im die hard fan of 4 startegy games ..
    1. Command & Conquer
    2. Company of Heroes
    3. Age of Empire
    4. World in Conflict (unique concept of strategy game)

  4. @Da Game-Wiz

i wish u were true bro….but da rumor could be partially accurate.first,u shouldnt expect a game sequel free with a major tittle lebeled on it.secondly, i already participated CNC4 BETA afew days ago.any1 can participate da BETA by simply PREORDERING IT{BTW-i dont think any ‘preorder’ is 4 free of cost},by winning some “blah-blah” contest, or by gettin code dat they are giving it away 2 any1 at gamespot[link-http://www.gamespot.com/event/codes/command-conquer-4-open/].i got in beta via 3rd method.when i first tested da gameplay, it took me a very lil time 2 figure out why those hardcore n oldschool CNC fans were whinning and yellin bout——–i ws shocked!it wasn’t even an RTS anymore!just a mere RTT-real time TACTICS……..similar like EndWar—-train units—capture dis node, that node—crush enemy units on da way—-da mcv,or da so called ‘class based’ all in one unit “crawler” 2 b precise is the only deployable vehicle dat train units.it doesn’t even build structures except for the defense class crawler which even only builds the defense structures like guardian cannon and da ion cannon—–NO DEDICATED BUILDINGS for units like BARRACKS or WARFACTORY——-NO TIBERIUM HARVESTING——-and hell-load of unusual features and interface [NO SIDEBAR-like CNC GENERALS,but GENERALS was waaaaaay better and a very nice game] u will b experiencing once u check it out.

i wish dat the Petroglyph Games-the studio founded by the founding members of westwood studios, also they were the original CNC developers could accuire the CNC licence, but i guess dats a dream only, not a reality 😥 ….

but da ‘rumor’ u heard could b true by another way……the game has a greater chance 2 be an EPIC fail and will then b released a as “free” download 👿 .and mind u dat THIS IS NOT ABOUT GETTING THINGS FOR FREE!why should i need 2 get connected on da net just 4 a single player game?battlefield heroes is a free and an ONLINE GAME WITH NO SINGLE PLAYER MODE IN IT, so dat’s an another story.

i can see dat u r much simpathetic towards the developers and every1 should b feeling like this naturally as we can see the hours, days, years, even more than a decade{duke nukem forever 😯 } they spend, the restless labour for game-developments they sacrifice…..4 all these hard works they really, really deserve their blood-earned prize. But then again, lets get back 2 ur way my friend….if u or i were developers,we atleast will be not be trying 2 torture or harass the consumers…..it is actually will be THEIR money and support by which we will b running our company.

yes, piracy IS a critical and a SERIOUS issue, but dont u think dat these developers r just sprayin and prayin….we all kno the prime origin of the crime—bittorrent sites.a well known yet another recent survey shows that only 1% percent of a 100% torrents are legal{link-http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/blog/felten/census-files-available-bittorrent}.so dont u think dat instead of chasing and hunting down the customers and treating them like pirates, they should first act to neutralize the illegal torrent sites?u want ur content 2 b protected……then protect it in A PROPER WAY!offcourse it sounds hard, but do u find it impossible…?NEVER.

for example, think of the bittorrent site mininova{link-http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/8382012.stm}, courts utilized legal force and were successful 2 remove all da illegal and copyright protected torrents.definitely it will take time, but the developers will find it very rewarding once they are able to liquify rest of such sites with the help of LAW.but all they are doing right now are cleaning the roads and streets instead of wearing shoes ❗

all they r doing is commercially analyzing the fiscal years and the amounts in their pockets.introduces cheap-tricks like “have a net, have a play” without looking or thinking about their supporting clients, instead of joining together 2 spend a little more investments 2 put the final nail on the coffin of piracy.

That is a really in-depth piece of commentary and I appreciate your views.

One thing about piracy though – do you think that most people who download games from torrent would buy it (if there was no pirated copy)? What I am trying to say is this – suppose 100,000 copies of the game gets downloaded illegally. That doesn’t mean an additional 100,000 games would be sold if there was no piracy. There is just no clear cut answer, I’ afraid.

But I agree with you completely. Instead of punishing us honest paying customers, developers should think of new anti-piracy measures.

And damn, I’m still waiting in the GameSpot line to get my C&C 4 and Bad Company 2 beta code. Hmmm…. should’ve selected another country besides Bangladesh when submitting the form 😥
