New Crysis 2 Details, Set 3 Years Later, Will Feature Nanosuit 2.0
Crysis 2 will be set three years after the original Crysis. We’ve already revealed that Crysis 2 will be set in New York City.
“The game takes place three years after the first game in a devastated New York City where, Crytek says, players will experience plenty of surprises as well as a deeper storyline than the studio’s previous games have offered.”
The Nanosuit 2.0 will also feature a “tactics” mode.
“[The tactics] mode that will help players gather information about the environment, enemy positions, as well as find out information about fallen soldiers.”
You can check out the Cryis 2 Nanosuit 2.0 trailer below:
Crysis 2 is scheduled for a late 2010 or early 2011 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

The specifications of fermi looks promising,will b launching as GTX 470,GTX 480 around april-may.Worried bout da temperature n offcourse its price as both’ll be high.No wonder da prices will b even skyhigh once nvidia beats ati in da performance.Looks like i’ll b skipping this one for da next revisions.

Crytek has learned not to make your PC have a crisis.
And since it’s being developed for consoles as well, the system requirements will be easier this time around. Your system seems okay but I won’t be surprised if you have to upgrade your gfx card.
@SLi_007
Same with me. But I’m a complete ATI fanboy. And you have to give them credit. The HD 5970 is a killer.
@Faisal
Wow, that is a serious gaming PC. Have you overclocked the CPU?
Feb 4th, 2010 at 1:24 pm
@Gaming Wiz
ya Cause I Am Xtremely Addicted to Gaming and if i need to upgrade my gpu for crysis 2 this time i will buy crysis 2 for Ps3 system..cause its better to spend 5k for crysis 2(ps3) then 25k on new gpu
about Oc
i didnt oc my system cause i dont have any decent cpu/gpu after market cooler.do u know any place in bd where i can find water cooler+moded Casing etc

@Da Game-Wiz
Hehe!I may end-up with nvidia products,but sometimes i feel myself dat i’m an ati-lover.i always put hope dat ati could roll-out some killer graphix which they already did with hd4xxx and now making hd5xxx a nightmare 4 nvidia.sure nvidia will take home the performance crown in da highend segment once gtx480 n its dual-headed versions are out,but when it comes 2 pricepoint,ati always steals da show with its unmatched prices,forcing da green team with intense competition 2 lower their card’s costs
.and then i get one green

Hey Ho
Don’t be worrying now. I ran Crysis with a (now-measly) X800GT (it was equivalent to 11K taka when I bought it!), a very low-end Pentium Dual-Core E5300 (recently purchased), and 2*1GB of Kingston “Value” RAMs. So all of you with recent cards, even from the lowest category, will be able to meet the minimum requirements.
Get a flat-screen 21″ CRT and play at 1280×1024 – much much better than the fancy LCDs and Plasmas.

@visitor
Not talking about run crysis in minimum.there is no point to play crysis if u cant enjoy the gfx at max accept aa.when crysis was released u needed a 8800gt or hd3870 to enjoy crysis at max in 1280*1024res.

That may be the culture here, but where I come from, as long as we have hardware that meets the minimum requirements, it’s considered “playable”. We only talk about “upgrading” when we fail that criterion. That’s when someone poses a question like “what do I need to play this?” And when someone asks “what do I need to play this at max?” then the context is as you mentioned.
I’ve seen a store in IDB where they have these huge casings, but aside from that, I don’t think they have any of the good casings or coolers here. I couldn’t even find Arctic Silver 5 pastes or the lower-end Zalman coolers. The market for these is so small that distributors have little benefit to bring them in.
