GTA V Set In Hollywood? Possibly
It’s all in the land of rumor-ville, but VG247 says that GTA V will be set in Hollywood.
VG247 doesn’t cite any sources.
However, a source close to Eurogamer has told that GTA V will indeed be set in Hollywood.

its gonna be another VICE CITY spinoff as GTA has hit the roots i doubt they will go for creating an all new city from scratch rather than polishing the good ol Vice City 😛

Bro, They almost did the same thing earlier back in GTA IV ! And there is no doubt that they are gonna do it again. In fact, I’ll be very much astonished if [this time] they don’t do so…

I agree with ya.It will be eccentric for them to create a new city in this generation of gaming.So,they wont go for it.I think they are holding out for the next generation but i doubt a new city wont come until Rockstar goes for a spinoff of the hugely popular Sanandreas next.To a side note i remember in GTA IV that the protagonist’s cousin Roman sended him a text in the last part of the game mentioning something like going to vice city.So i am cognizant about rockstar’s next move i.e VICE CITY.

I think Rockstar should excogitate their future plans for the entire Gta franchise. A new city(I.e Hollywood) in the future gta titles will be great for both an innovation & a deviation in the series, As it’ll diversify the whole franchise. Besides, Feeding off the same thing to the gamers(Just ‘Cause they are the “respectable” fans of the series!) may not be a good idea either, as someday it may feel like a little bit of “Old skool” kinda thing.
But then again, There’s no point to think that I’m against the instauration of Vice city. In fact, I’d love to see a quite well polished & a well refined version of “Vice City” indeed, in the next gta game.

However, I personally don’t think that they will feature the same protagonist again in the next Gta title, Since it never happened in the whole franchise, So far. But I do get the feeling that Rockstar will surely go for both Vice city & SanAndreas for a spinoff in the future gta titles, As you’ve had mentioned earlier.

i also feel the same.They gotta do something new after that sanandreas spinoff we are expecting.Its gonna be 3rd spinoff of vice city if it happens 😆 the GTA V.For the protagonist part i think there is a slim chance niko could starr but i meant rockstar gave us a hint in the last game i.e GTA IV.I highly regard Tommy Vercitti and hope that he returns cuz didnt even see him in the picture after the original vice city game and in those psp spinoffs it was Tony Cipriani not Vercitti some may confuse him with that.I hope those gym’s and other facilities in the sanandreas series returns with the added element of GIA IV and that will be epic!

Yeah, Actually thats what I was saying, They’ve to do something new to keep the series “alive”. But like I said, I’d love to see an instauration of Vice city in the next Gta game, indeed. 🙂
Btw…As long as I remember, It was a guy named “Victor Vance” who was featured as a protagonist on Gta Vice city stories, Not Tony Cipriani. Tony was featured in Gta Liberty City Stories, If I’m not wrong.

Toni Cipriani was on the first psp gta game.I played it a long time ago so forgot about that.Yeah Victor Vance the military guy was the protagonist of GTA Vice City Stories the second gta game on the psp.Still i would like to see Tony Vercitti the very first protagonist of the gta game to come back and would like to see the best protagonist of the entire gta franchise Carl Johnson “CJ” for the next sanandreas iteration :razz:,but hey dont we have too many chracters already? 😆 I would like Rockstar to stick with a old protagonist this time around 😎

Yeah, We do have a lot of characters already, And Rockstar won’t do anything wrong if they put out an old protagonist instead of a new one in the next gta game.
