GTA Won’t Release Every Year, Says Take-Two Boss
GTA won’t be annualized like Call of Duty or FIFA, for example. Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has confirmed to Reuters that they have no plan to annualize either the GTA or Red Dead Redemption franchises as it will “diminish quality.” It is rumored that the next GTA V won’t be released before 2012.
Analyst: GTA V Unlikely To Release Before 2012
Janco Partner’s analyst Mike Hickey predicts that it’s unlikely GTA V will release before 2012. This comes after Hickey issued an analyst note, which laid out some predictions for the New York-based publisher. Hickey believes it will be yet another blockbuster and could sell up to 16 million copies and possibly generate $750 by itself. […]
GTA V Set In Hollywood? Possibly
It’s all in the land of rumor-ville, but VG247 says that GTA V will be set in Hollywood. VG247 doesn’t cite any sources. However, a source close to Eurogamer has told that GTA V will indeed be set in Hollywood. Stay tuned.
