The Witcher 2 Will Get DLC, “Seems A Really Natural Move” Says CD Projekt
New comments from CD Projekt staff appear to show that additional story-based DLC is a certainty for The Witcher 2.
“Nothing really solid that I want to talk about right now but yes, it seems a really natural move to go to DLC,” senior producer Tomasz Gop told Games On Net.
“As for DLC nothing has been announced again, but we’re definitely thinking about this one,” he said at the time.
“[There’s] a lot of ideas, and new possibilities with the new tech. We’d like to make sure we do the game first though.”
“There’s definitely a lot of stories there to be told.

man, I’m really dying for this game … even I want more DLCs throughout the year 2011 .. 😀

Apart from Mass Effect, Witcher is one of my most favourite RPG. It is an RPG in the true sense of the word, not cinematic, a bit old school with lots of stats and customization. Didnt finish the first time I got it because of bugs but finished the Enhanced Edition all the way later on. Really mature stuff in there. Can’t wait for Witcher 2.

i aint a avid rpg fan therefore didnt play Witcher before 🙁 But i did play Dragon Age Origins due to the fact it got rave reviews and was the only good game available for pc in december 2009 for me.You can call me a part time rpg player but i surely loved Mass Effect 1 & 2 cuz of something i cant express.I did complete Dragon Age Origins though really complicated game but the story was awesome.Judging by ur emotions Witcher must be a good game reminiscent to dragon age orgins

i played dragon age on x360…mainly due to the great reviews..but i must say i was heavily dissappointed… specially with the stupid(if i may say it) combat system..btw how is the witcher..the prison break trailer looked awesome.. 😎 ..i never played the game

i played da on pc nd also was disapointed with the point nd clik combat system.. don mind the inventory, level ups and conversions as long as u have gud combat to bak it up.. i mean real time combat not point nd clik type.. wats the combat like in witcher?

That is what old school RPGs are really about.
By old school I mean Baldur’s gate I & II type RPG. You either love it or hate it.
As I said once before most RPGs nowadays are cinematic and it is BioWare who has pampered us with world-class ME1 & 2 and changed our tastes. 😀
Btw … all these RPGs were made by BioWare so ots of respect to those guys.
