Gran Turismo 5 Lacks Race Rewind Feature

First popularized by Codemaster’s GRID, the race rewind (or flashback as it is know over at GRID) has saved our bacon countless times. However, new information has surfaced that Gran Turismo 5 has no race rewind function.

This information comes from GT planet member Amar, who has played a leaked copy of the game and has said that you can’t rewind if you mess up in a race.

Also, not all cars have interiors: “And no, really no, Standards do not have interiors too.”

Moreover, you can’t copy your save files to another place:

“Save files are really copy-protected, period. You can’t copy them to memory stick and that is it.”

Gran Turismo 5 is scheduled for a November 24 2010 release only on the PS3.

Gran Turismo 5 is going to be the 2nd game in the franchise that I’ll be playing after a long break since 1999 when I played the first Gran Turismo, so I’m really excited about it! πŸ˜›
