The HUD Can’t Be Turned Off In Gran Turismo 5

For the last few days the web has been full of Gran Turismo 5 buzz. With all the pre official release discs on the wild , some of the information may have missed your ears.

There is no option in Gran Turismo 5 to turn off the HUD. In Gran Turismo 5 you will have the option to disable the driving lines , that tell you when to hit the brake.  But other than that the speedometer, position, lap, leaderboard, lap times, and those other numbers and figures dotted around the screen; they stay there.

Although this is not an issue for hardcore GT fans , but it is definitely a kind of disappointment for casual gamers. 

And there is also a confirmation from someone with a leaked copy of the game, he said  “Map Size can be adjusted, unfortunately, no option to turn-off the HUD yet”. He also said “I’d also like to clarify that this is in no way a ‘hate attack’ on Gran Turismo 5”
