Microsoft has announced at this year’s CES that Kinect has sold 8 million units in its first 60 days.

Awesome we say, bring on the controller free future.

Microsoft previously estimated that Kinect would sell 5 million units by the end of 2010.

Kinect went on to sell 1 million units in its first 10 days and 2.5 million in 25 days.

  1. kinect is fun to play with, inaccurate but still good enough techonology which can detect whole body’s motions unlike the playstation move. This fighting game ( forgot the name ) was awesome, the sports was ok, but it was dance cental which made kinect worth buying. Watching ur friends dance to Lady gaga songs like a chick and the kinect videoing it during freeplay is awesome ! The idiotic dance moves ur friends will make during those 10 seconds of freeplay is worth buying kinect for. trust me. waiting for the star wars game. MAy the force be with u ! * star wars music plays in the bg *
