Modern Warfare 3 Is Actually A Prequel To The Series?
Rumors, according to an “unnamed source” speaking to fan site thisisxbox.com has said that the upcoming Modern Warfare 3 will actually be a prequel to the Modern Warfare series.
Players are rumored to take the role of Ghost, revealing how he became a masked member of Task Force 141. This has also been explored in a Modern Warfare comic book by David Lapham.
Rumors suggest that players will get to revisit locations from the original Modern Warfare and Modern Warfare 2. Also that the game will not feature a brand new engine.
Nothing has been confirmed at the moment so take this with a pinch of salt.

not a bad idea!! after all ghost was my favorite character from MW2… and the comics weren’t half bad… but i guess making a prequel and having parts from MW n MW2 is good way to get extra mileage out of the whole MW series (multiplayer FTW!
)… i certainly wouldn’t mind playing through those levels again… but i guess this is the best we can expect after the whole Activision Vs Infinity ward debacle.

oohhh 🙄 that sniper mission in Chernobyl from MW still gives chills!!! price is the man!!!! what i would like to know is how he ended up in the gulag though!! 😐

there are speculations that sgt.kamarov blamed price for everything, and thats why he ended up in the gulag…however its a speculation..
