Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell HD Collections Coming To PS3 On March 22

Ubisoft has confirmed that they are to release the much awaited HD remake of the three Splinter Cell titles dubbed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD to retail this March for PlayStation 3.

Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy will feature the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory on one Blu-ray disc.

The games will be getting not only an HD upgrade, but will support stereoscopic 3D as well.

Along with it, the Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD will also get a release at the same date.

The Prince of Persia collection will feature Sands of Time, Warrior Within, and The Two Thrones, and will be getting the same upgrades as the Splinter Cell collection.

Both discs will be available at retail on March 22 for $39.99 a piece. Digital bundles will also hit PlayStation Network at the same time. Although the Prince of Persia games are already available as separate downloads on PSN since late last year.

  1. i downloaded pop- warrior within from PSN. graphics looks good but the disjointed and lack of polish character models are more apparent now ( certainly, its an old ps2 game ). well who cares, any excuse to play this awesome game again.
