Rumor: Hitman 5 Coming Christmas 2011

Eurogamer reports that Hitman 5 is already in development at IO Interactive, and the game will be releasing “at the very earliest Christmas next year” for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Retail sources have also confirmed to Eurogamer that a release later in 2011 “will be most likely”.

This comes after a couple of concept art for Hitman 5 allegedly hit the internet. Those have since been pulled down.

Speaking with VG247, Sqaure Enix said that the art “was created as part of a portfolio, intended to showcase an artist’s style or method of work and does not represent any new Hitman game.”
