StarCraft II Cost More Than $100 Million To Develop

[Update] This has been an error on part of the Wall Street Journal. It was actually World of Warcraft that took $100 million to develop.

A Wall Street Journal article reports that Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, has said that Blizard has so much faith in StarCraft II that it has spent more than $100 million in producing the game.

The article doesn’t mention where the figure originates from but if it’s true then StarCraft II is one of the most costliest games ever made.

StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty releases only on the PC in July 27 2010. And here you thought PC gaming was doomed.
